Punchline Media is a Bristol based production & post production studio run by Calum Jelf. He approached me asking for a new logotype and branding collateral.
For the branding I chose to go in a slightly different direction to the surrounding competition.
Due to the highly visual work Punchline Media creates, along with the directors passion for photography I wanted to make photography a very focal part to the branding. Utilising the dynamic scenes and bright colour palette to engage a customer and make it stand apart from the surrounding competition,
Photography played a focal aspect to the printed collateral, working with the typography to create balance, while the Logotype was hand drawn in a bespoke shape.
When utilised on letterheads and the invoice, due to the lack of natural symmetry within the letterform I chose to give it enough negative space to let it breath by itself and not be off balanced by surrounding body copy.
